Welcome to the Alders Farm Fishery Website
Set in a picturesque valley near the village of Great Brickhill, Nr Milton Keynes, Alders Farm Fishery offers a great deal to the Match, Specimen and Pleasure Angler alike. The spring fed lakes cover a total of 3 and a half acres and offer a full variety of sport. As a direct result of the mineral-rich spring feeds, the venue has built a reputation of producing bumper fish to 30lb plus and bulging match weights to well over 200lb in the depth of winter.
Match weights are made up from mostly Carp in the 2lb to 5lb range, with pellet & paste popular in summer and maggot and soft pellet good in winter. The Specimen lake boasts at least 15 'thirties' and a large head of twenties which can be taken on bunches of maggot fished over PVA bags of Pinkies or standard Boilies tactics. The best fish to date was a cracking 36lb 2oz Carp. The silver fish lake boasts a head of Bream in the 4lb to 7lb bracket and a number of Barbel to around 2lb. There are plenty of Rudd that feed all year round and can make up decent weights on their own.
